On May 5th, 2008 Lyford Cay International School held it's Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the school campus at 6:00p.m. The evening was extremely well attended and ended with the full disclosure of the school's Operational Costs, Financials Analysis, Goals for the Future, and the new Development Plan for campus refurbishment.
The Annual General Meeting is held every year in accordance with the bylaws established by the Governing Board of Lyford Cay. During the meeting, the LCIS Board presents past and current accomplishments and announces plans for the future. The evening is directed by the Board Chair and supported by the full involvement of the entire Board who were in attendance last night.
More importantly, the AGM gives parents and community members a formal opportunity to raise questions and seek clarification regarding the direction of LCIS. The May 5th, 2008 presentation was extremely well received and highlighted some key questions and perspectives on the growth and development of LCIS.
