Applying to Lyford Cay International School

Lyford Cay International School admits students throughout the school year on an as needed basis. Our goal is to make the process as easy as possible while still meeting the needs and requirements of running an International Baccalaureate school. Lyford Cay International School will consider enrollment for any student whose family subscribes to the principles of the International Baccalaureate, whose needs can be met by the school’s programs and services and who can be integrated into a mainstream classroom environment. Applications are processed on a year round basis.

Minimum age requirements:

  • Nursery Class Students must be three (3) years of age by August 31st of the year of admission.
  • Pre-kindergarten Class Students must be four (4) years of age by August 31st of the year of admission.
  • Kindergarten Class Students must be five (5) years of age by August 31st of the year of admission.
  • Grade one Students must be six (6) years of age by August 31st of the year of admission.
  • Grades two and above Students will be enrolled based on their academic attainment and the previous school experience.
  • Students without a history of schooling above first grade will be enrolled based on their academic attainment and age.

Admission process:

In order to start the admission process all documents and application fee need to be submitted to the attention of our Admissions Director within the school's Administration.
